SEELIE COURT

Re-theming a classic board game

In my free time, I play a lot of board games and Castles of Burgundy is one of my favorites. The mechanics are great, but I always thought it deserved a redesign to reflect that and move away from the generic Medieval theming. I decided to take inspiration from a different region: Scotland’s folklore around the fairy realm.

I enlisted Hannah from Greater Than Courses to help me structure this daunting amount of work and provide critique and editing over the course of 10 weeks.
